Saintville is a marketplace that connects independent, UK-based sellers of homeware and art with buyers. When you buy something on Saintville, your contract for that item is with the vendor who listed it, not with Saintville — we facilitate the listing, payment, and (where applicable) shipping.
You need an account to buy or sell. You're responsible for keeping your login details secure and for the accuracy of the information you give us. For now, we only accept UK-based buyers and sellers, to keep shipping and payouts simple.
Every vendor application and every product listing is reviewed personally before it goes live. Vendors are responsible for the accuracy of their own listings — condition, materials, and description — and for fulfilling orders they accept. Saintville takes an agreed commission on each sale, deducted automatically from the payout.
Prices are shown in GBP and payments are processed securely by Stripe. Under UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, you generally have 14 days from delivery to cancel an online order for a refund, except for made-to-order or bespoke items, which are excluded from this right. Contact the vendor directly, or us if you need help, to arrange a return.
We review every vendor and listing personally, but we don't manufacture, stock, or ship the items sold on Saintville — that responsibility sits with each vendor. We'll help mediate any dispute in good faith, but our liability for issues with a specific product is limited to what's reasonable for a marketplace facilitating that sale.
Don't use Saintville to list counterfeit, stolen, or illegal items, to mislead buyers or vendors, or to attempt to circumvent payments through the platform. We can suspend or remove accounts that break these terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
