Lakeviews Apartment
Perched above the Walthamstow Wetlands in North London, this light-filled apartment balances character and calm with a palette drawn directly from the view. Anchored by a deep blue sofa the client had already chosen, the design evolved into a cohesive, sunlit scheme that echoes the landscape beyond—muted lake greens, pale sky blues, and warm, burnt ochres that nod to the surrounding red brick terraces.
The interiors were carefully considered to feel both personal and adaptable. A dedicated home office was integrated into the open-plan space, offering quiet functionality without compromising flow or aesthetics. Bespoke details and layered textures bring depth, while original artworks by emerging London-based painters and sculptors lend a quiet cultural richness to the home.
Knowing the client planned to list the apartment on Airbnb while travelling, thoughtful touches were added: curated London travel guides, a printed welcome manual with local favourites, and a spatial layout designed to feel equally lived-in and guest-ready. The result is a home that reflects its surroundings, its owner, and the rhythm of a life both rooted and in motion.
